Easy As Grilled Sweet Potatoes for that low carb side dish.
Grilled Sweet Potatoes? Well yes, bring them on...apparently lower carb than normal potatoes. But to be honest, either way, love ‘em, Make ‘em, eat ‘em and come and tell me about ‘em. Need
- 1/2 small orange sweet potato per serving
- 1 Teaspoon dark brown sugar per serving
- Pinches pink salt flakes as needed per serving BUY
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) as required BUY
- leafy green herbs for garnish if desired

Preheat oven to 220°C.

Preheat a ridged grill pan on a very high temperature for about 10 minutes.

Cut the potatoes lengthwise in halves. Sprinkle each with the sugar and salt.

Drizzle oil on the grill pan, turn the heat down to high and place each potato cut side down on the pan to create grill marks, across the wider part of the potatoes.

Cook briefly just until you have a nice sear on the potato.

Wrap each piece in foil separately and place onto a tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tender. Serve hot.
