This is the final recipe for the Vanilla Thriller Cake recipe. It is the easiest as well! Good luck with the rest! Follow instructions to assemble!

I have had a little trouble with finding the RUF cake glaze in 12g packets though lately it has been a bit easier with the advent of European grocers in my area. This recipe is written for those of you who cannot find the RUF, but I do suggest you do have a good hunt and try to source it as it will be a lot easier.

SO hear it is, the final recipe for the whole V8 cake thingo! Thanks Adriano, the more I have made this cake, the more it has morphed from the original as I have simplified and reduced the processes. In fact I think this may only be a V7 cake! (That's awkward!) I do have the other recipe for a Toasted Brulee Layer that I should certainly put up but it didn't make it into this video set!

PLEASE, if you end up making the V8 (or 7) post it to social media and tag me for sure! I am dying to see the results! #cookingwithtenina

Final steps to assembly, HERE: Vanilla Thriller Slice

Do

1

Place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and blend 5 sec/speed 7. Cook 5 min/80°C/speed 3

2

Cool till beginning to set. If not setting, you may need to add more cornflour and go again with the cooking time. Spread glaze on top of cake, set on a wire rack. Work quickly (see video) and using a palette knife, level the top of the glaze.

3

Refrigerate and serve when ready!

4

This is best served in very thin slices as it is very rich and decadent.
