The idea of mozzarella sticks anytime at a moments notice is pretty appealing isn't it? It's also a little bit scary how easy these are. You do need to think ahead a little bit, but once you have them chilling in the freezer, ready to go...oh my! And then there is that marinara sauce. If you haven't made that yet it is time. It goes with SO many things. I make it at least once a week on average.

I hope you love the cheese pull on these as much as we did. Just delish!

Do

1

Place mozzarella sticks in the freezer for at least 1 hour.

2

Place flour in a bowl.

3

Combine panko, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and paprika in a second bowl and stir to combine.

4

Place whisked egg into third bowl.

5

Coat frozen mozzarella sticks in flour, then egg, then the crumb mix.

6

Preheat Air Fryer to 200°C. Line the airfryer tray with baking paper.

7

Drizzle a little oil on all sides of the mozzarella sticks and place some in the AirFryer. Don't over crowd them. Cook for 5 minutes until crispy. Repeat until all are cooked. (Or don't, see below!)

These can be made up to the point of cooking and left in the freezer until you are ready for them.
