Patatas Bravas with Spicy Tomato Sauce
A delicious dish to serve to guests before the main event. A little messy, but really pretty and appetising. Entertaining at its best.
Patatas bravas is a popular Spanish tapas dish consisting of crispy fried potato cubes. They are typically served with a spicy tomato-based sauce and often accompanied by aioli or mayonnaise for a contrasting flavor. The dish is known for its bold and savory flavors, making it a favorite in Spanish cuisine. This has the addition of steak to 'beef' it up (pardon the pun) and make it a full meal.
We smashed this in no time flat, you can of course go larger if required, and we think you should! I think it would make the perfect dish for entertaining...but you should give your guests some small plates and a fork to be more elegant than just scraping it up by hand.
