- 1 Batch Puff Pastry or 1 sheet of Empire Puff Pastry Recipe
- 2 shallot peeled and halved
- 3 cloves garlic peeled
- 50 Grams butter cubed BUY
- 2 Teaspoons yellow curry powder
- 2 Tablespoons brandy
- 2 Tablespoons plain flour BUY
- 1 Teaspoon raw caster sugar BUY
- pink salt flakes and pepper to taste BUY
- 200 Grams raw peeled prawns
- 1 eggs whisked for egg wash

Preheat oven to 170°C and line a large tray with baking paper.

Place pastry onto a floured silpat mat. Roll out to a large rectangle.

Place shallots, garlic, butter and curry powder into the Thermomix bowl. Chop 3 sec/speed 5. Saute 5 min/Varoma/speed 1.

Add brandy, flour, sugar, salt and pepper and cook 4 min/Varoma/speed 1.

Add prawns and chop 6 sec/Reverse/speed 6.

Cut out circles of pastry. We used an 11cm diameter round cutter.

Spoon filling on to one half of each round. Fold in half and seal the edges by pinching and folding up.

Place on to tray, brush with egg wash.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until golden and sizzling.
