Sleepy Bliss Bites
Just a little snack before bedtime? Then this should be your go to! Doterra your way to a good nights sleep!
If you are anything like me, having trouble sleeping is a nightly occurrence. I have tried all the tricks, magnesium, melatonin, hot milk, no blue light at night, no screens, etc etc. As much as I am not opposed to eating probably the wrong things at night as well, these will get you well on your way to the land of nod, so we suggest NOT adding them to your lunch box, though an after school snack for the kidlets might be working in your favour!
BENEFITS:
Geranium oil has a sweet, floral fragrance that calms and relaxes the body and mind. Its rose-like aroma is considered to have a gently relaxing effect on the mood and works as a natural antidepressant. Perfect to soothe the soul and help you go to sleep feeling content.
Oats contain tryptophan, an amino-acid the brain converts into serotonin, which relaxes the body before falling asleep. The brain needs tryptophan to make serotonin, so it is important to get enough of it for good sleep.
Tart cherries in your diet can increase sleep time and sleep efficiency for people with insomnia.
