Turkey Leftovers Cheese Rolls

As we all come round from our post Christmas foodie coma, this is a little bit different and the perfect way to use up your leftovers (or a portion of your leftovers). It is very delicious and easy to do, please do use our bread roll recipe. We used a 23cm square cake tin with a removable base that was lined with baking paper.

Then think outside the box, use up your ham this same way, but add some mustard instead of cranberry sauce (though cranberry sauce and ham is a bit of a fave of mine too) or for left over seafood, use cold bechamel sauce.

Family happy, mum happy, fridge a bit happier!

Pre-make the rolls well in advance.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Leaving the rolls attached to each other, cut them all the way through like one big roll. Return the bottom half of the rolls to the lined tin.

Place the cheeses into the Thermomix bowl and mill 5 sec/speed 8.

Layer half the cheese on top of the bread. Add some gravy, cranberry sauce and turkey finishing with the remaining cheese.

Put the top half of the rolls back on top of all the fillings. Press down slightly.

Cover with foil and then bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese has melted and everything is hot. Serve immediately!
