Cinnamon Apple Pastries
A really simple yet delicious dessert! Cinnamon Apple Pastries.
We thought these were going to be pretty easy, but a word to the wise, just wrap a whole piece of fruit, rather than trying to get all tricky like we did with the little donut thing going on.
They are extremely delicious, and we will definitely be making them again. I am keen to try pineapple and peach versions. So if you are looking for a family friendly dessert, and you have Killer Vanilla Ice Cream handy (because they are perfect served with ice cream!) then this has to be on your list.

Need
- 1 Batch Puff Pastry or 1 sheet of Empire Puff Pastry or 2 regular sheets Recipe
- 1 Cup raw caster sugar BUY
- 1 ground cinnamon
- apples / peaches / pineapple / pear any fruit of choice
- 1 eggs whisked with a fork

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

To make cinnamon sugar, combine the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl.

Cut your fruit into 1cm thick slices of choice, we did apple rings which were probably a little tricker than if you just wrapped a whole piece of fruit in pastry.

Coat in cinnamon sugar, then wrap in puff pastry.

Brush with egg wash then dip in cinnamon sugar again.

Bake for 25 minutes or until you are happy the apples (or whatever) are cooked through.
