YUM! these are super quick to whip up and very very tasty. You could serve them on a thick slice of sourdough toast, with a coleslaw perhaps, but we just wolfed them down as is. Made in minutes, eaten in less time than that! (Isn't it always the way?) Put it on repeat!

Despite Halloumi originating from Cyprus, this semi hard cheese pairs really well with the Asian flavours we have added here. You could go another way, and add loads of fresh mint, parsley and even black olives if you wanted to stick with the mediterranean idea. The honey is the perfect pairing for this creamy cheese.

Need

  • 4 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons miso (dark)
  • 200 Grams packet of halloumi, cut into cubes (we used a crinkle cutter for the look)
  • 1/2 red chilli thinly sliced
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Teaspoons sesame seeds to garnish

Do

Place honey and miso into a small mixing bowl. Stir to combine.

Cut the halloumi into small cubes, and coat in the sauce.

Bake in Air Fryer for 7 min/200°C or until toasty and melty.

Serve hot garnished with chillies, spring onion and sesame seeds.
