Mango Lime Sorbet

I have booked my Mexican Cruise, watch out Puerto Vallarta...I am on my way. In an effort to recreate the excitement of such an announcement (Husband; underwhelmed) I thought a little tropical treat would, well....go down a treat.

This is also the perfect addition to the Curried Kulfi with Pistachios that I am serving in the Currying Flavour classes at the moment. You missed out?? Stay tuned, they are coming to an online store near you soon...yes...online classes...can you cope????

In the meantime, head on over to FrozBerries and get a few bags of frozen mango (they stock Australian frozen fruit) or order online and you can be day dreaming on the Lido Deck in no time. Happy Mixing. Ola.

Need

  • 300 g mango, frozen, in chunks
  • 2 limes, juice only

Do

Place the mango into TM bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 10.

Add lime juice and continue to blend 1 min/speed 10 with the aid of the spatula, until creamy and aerated.

Serve immediately. This will re-freeze and become quite solid. Best made the day of service.
