Acai Smoothie Bowl
Try saying Acai 4 times in a row and fast. Pronounced Ahh-sigh-eee, it took me ages to get it down. But eventually it stuck.
I know when you head to any cafe breakfast in Australia there will undoubtedly be a smoothie bowl on the menu. They are probably mostly banana, with maybe some yoghurt and other berries perhaps thrown in for good measure. This version is to match our Acai berry candle from Conscious Candle Co here in Western Australia, family owned and created. Beautiful candles, we love them, they burn for 100 hours and just smell incredible. All natural, nothing nasty!
SO...to get back to smoothie bowls, they can be a great way to pack some nutrition into you first thing in the morning. I am not a breakfast eater traditionally, but I can gulp down a couple of mouthfuls of this delicious concoction. It does make a lot, so my suggestion is to freeze it in ice cube trays and then you have instant smoothie and/or smoothie bowl on demand any day of the week.
