Beer Cheese Dip

A rich, creamy and dangerously moreish dip that brings pub vibes straight to your table.

I'm not sure why it took us so long!  The American answer to fondue, this Beer Cheese Dip is everything you want in a party dip, creamy, cheesy, just the right amount of tang, and loaded with that irresistible malty beer flavour. It’s the kind of warm, gooey comfort food that gets devoured in minutes, especially when served alongside a few cold drinks. Perfect for entertaining, game nights, or a lazy weekend snack platter, this Thermomix version couldn’t be easier. You’ll get perfectly smooth, melty cheese with minimal effort. Add your favourite beer and let the magic happen. 

What to Serve It With:

Warm pretzels or soft pretzel bites

Bagels or baguette slices

Crackers or crostini

Thick-cut potato chips

Vegetable sticks (carrot, celery, cucumber, capsicum)

Chicken wings or tenders

Mini sausages or meatballs

Roasted potatoes or wedges

Place cheeses into the Thermomix bowl. Chop 8 sec/speed 8. Set aside.

Place garlic into the Thermomix bowl. Chop 3 sec/speed 6. Add butter, flour and paprika. Cook 3 min/80°C/speed 2.

Add milk and beer and cook 4 min/80°C/speed 3.

Add remaining ingredients, including cheeses and combine 4 min/speed 4.

Pour into a serving dish and refrigerate until set.

Serve with veggies, corn chips, crackers of choice. Particularly good with pretzels!

Cue the beer and the German sausages and enjoy!
