Need

  • 100 Grams salt - rock or pink (milled to a fine powder-like consistency)
  • 300 Grams sodium carbonate (washing soda)
  • 250 Grams citric acid
  • 200 Grams natural borax
  • 30 Drops lemon essential oil
  • Silicon ice cube or mini-muffin tray

Do

Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl, mixing until well combined. Alternatively, measure into Thermomix bowl and mix 30 sec/speed 4.

Using a tablespoon, scoop mixture until a silicone ice cube or mini muffin tray, and pack in firmly.

Allow mixture to harden in a cool, dry place (such as laundry) for at least 24-48 hours, or until very firm and dry to touch.

Gently turn the tray upside down and tap until tablets fall out. Transfer into an airtight container.

To use:

Place one tablet in the dispenser or on the floor of your dishwasher prior to operation.

If your tablets don't set due to excess humidity, simply empty into a container and use 1 tbsp per load.
