Rosemary and Fennel Apple Sauce
A silky spiced apple sauce lifted with aniseed fennel and woodsy rosemary; the grown-up condiment your Sunday roast has been waiting for.
Forget the sweet, one-note apple sauce from a jar, this version earns its place on the table. Fennel seeds bring a warm, gentle aniseed note, while a sprig of rosemary threads through the apples as they cook down, lending a savoury, almost piney depth that balances all that natural sweetness. It's the kind of apple sauce that stops being an afterthought and starts being the thing people ask for the recipe of. Ridiculously simple in the Thermomix of course, just chop, cook, blitz , and endlessly useful, from Sunday roasts to your next cheese board.
